Accommodations
Westervelt Lodge is one of the last large hunting plantations from the old south with 12,000 acres of land sprawling along four miles of the scenic Tombigbee River.
Westervelt Lodge’s informally elegant accommodations blend rustic beauty, southern hospitality and quiet charm. Our original 70-year-old tongue and groove pine floors and 40-inch stone fireplaces highlight the main lodge. Sumptuous Southern-style meals top off the total experience.
Our main lodge accommodates ten overnight guests who enjoy private bath and bedrooms with comfortable beds and daily housekeeping. The adjoining satellite lodge sleeps four and is equipped with all the comforts of our main lodge and is perfect for couples, smaller parties or business associates who need privacy for after-dinner meetings. For larger parties, capacity in the main lodge and Liar’s Lair Lodge can be increased with double occupancy.
Westervelt Lodge offers something for everyone. Activities include a variety of hunting choices, fishing ponds and a network of endless roads.
